*GO ANYWHERE TAILGATE BEANS*

1/2 lb sliced bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tbsp molasses
1 tbsp prepared mustard
1 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1 cup smoked, cooked bratwurst, thinly sliced
1/2 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (15 oz) can red kidney beans, butter beans, and Great Northern beans, drained reserving liquid
1/2 cup ketchup, packed brown sugar and bottled barbecue sauce

Wipe out skillet bacon was cooked into and cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain and set mixture aside.

In a large bowl, combine ketchup brown sugar, barbecue sauce, molasses, mustard, chili powder and pepper. Stir in meats and beans. Add reserved bean liquid to reach desired consistency. Spoon the mixture into a 2-quart casserole dish. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 1 hour. Remove from oven and let stand 15 minutes before serving. Serves 10
