AU GRATIN POTATOES

Category: Au Gratin and Scalloped

1/2 cup milk
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp onion powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
6 medium potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch slices
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup (2 oz) shredded Cheddar cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Paprika for sprinkling

Preheat the oven to 350. Coat a 7 inch x 11 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a small bowl, combine the milk, Italian seasoning, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Arrange the potato slices in the casserole dish. Pour the milk mixture over the potatoes and dot with the butter. Cover and bake for 1 hour, or until the potatoes are tender. Uncover and sprinkle evenly with the Cheddar and Parmesan cheeses then the paprika. Bake, uncovered, for 8 to 10 minutes more, or until the Cheddar is melted. Serve immediately. Serves 4-6
