BEEF FILLETS IN WINE MUSHROOM SAUCE

6-8 beef filets
1 tsp salt and paprika
1/2 tsp pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup dry red wine
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1-2 tbsp flour
1 cup beef broth

Rub filets with salt, pepper and paprika. Heat skillet to medium-high heat and cook filets for 4-5 minutes per side or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove steaks and place on a platter and cover to keep warm.

Heat oil in the skillet and saute garlic, onions and mushrooms until tender. Add wine and remaining ingredients, simmering for several minutes until mixture thickens. Stir the mixture while heating to keep the flour from forming lumps. Pour sauce over filets and serves. Serves 6-8
