BANANA NUT BARS

1 cup sugar and mashed very ripe bananas (2 medium)
1/3 cup oil
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda and ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Cream Cheese Frosting
1 (3 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 inch baking dish. Mix first 4 ingredients in a large bowl with a spoon. Stir in dry ingredients. Spread batter in pan and bake 25-30 minutes. Cool completely. Frost with cream cheese frosting and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.

Frosting. Mix first 3 ingredients and gradually beat in powdered sugar with a spoon until smooth and spreadable.
