BOURBON BROWNIES

1 pkg fudge brownie mix, prepared as directed on box
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2-4 tbsp bourbon
3 tbsp butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2-3 tsp milk
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 oz semisweet chocolate melted
Grease a square baking pan; set aside. Prepare brownie mix. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Spread batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until edges are set and begin to pull away from sides of pan.
Using a fork, prick the warm brownies several times. Drizzle bourbon evenly over brownies; cool in pan on a wire rack.
For frosting, in a small mixing bowl, beat the butter until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, beating well. Slowly beat in 2 tsp of the milk and vanilla. If necessary, beat in remaining milk to reach spreading consistency. Spread over brownies; drizzle melted chocolate over frosting.
