BLONDE CHOCOLATE CHIP BROWNIES

1/3 cup butter, soften
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Eggs, beaten
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 c Chopped pecans

Browned Butter Icing
1 1/2 cups butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
3/4 tsp vanilla
Light cream

Melt butter; gradually add brown sugar, beating well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Combine dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture, and mix well. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Spread mixture into a greased 9inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool.

Icing: Melt butter in a small saucepan until golden brown. Remove from heat and add sugar, vanilla and enough cream to make mixture easy to spread. Spread on cooled cake and cut into squares.
