Smoked Salmon Filo Shells With Cold Dill Sauce

Ready in: 1-2 hrs
- 1 pound cream cheese
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 8 ounces smoked salmon, drained and diced
- 1/4 cup roasted red peppers, diced
- 1/4 cup green pepper, finely diced
- 1/4 cup shallot, finely diced
- fresh ground white pepper
- 1 teaspoon mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon Liquid Smoke
- 1 package frozen filo dessert shells
***Dill Sauce***
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 dash lemon zest
- salt to taste
- fresh white pepper to taste
Mix all the above except shells, spoon into shells and place in a preheated oven at 325 degrees F for about 20 minutes. Remove and place on dinner plates. Serve with the dill sauce. Top with a sprinkle of lemon zest. For Sauce: In a small mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, and salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
