CHICKEN WINGS IN GARLIC SAUCE

Category: Wings

1/4 cup olive oil
2 dozen chicken wings, rinsed and patted dry
Flour, for dredging
2 tbsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 pinch red pepper flakes
1 bay leaf
2 lemons, halved
10 roasted clove garlic
1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano
1/4 cup sherry
2 cups chicken broth

Heat oil in a skillet. Pour flour into a shallow platter; add seasonings, stirring until combined. Dredge wings in flour. Brown chicken on all sides and remove from pan and set aside on a platter. Add remaining ingredients to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes to evaporate the alcohol. Return the wings to the pan. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes; or braise in the oven at 375 for 30 minutes.
