ALABAMA MUD CAKE

1 (20 oz) can pineapple with juice
1 (21 oz) can cherry pie filling
1 pkg devils food cake mix
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup mint chocolate chips
1/2 cup butter, sliced

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13x9 inch baking dish. Pour pineapple with juice into pan and spread evenly, the pie filling and then cake mix. Sprinkle with pecans and chips, and then distribute the sliced butter evenly over the top. Bake, room temperature for 40 minutes. Allow to cool.
