BEEF BURGANDY - The Easy Way

4 lbs sirloin or round steak, cubed
1 cup burgundy wine
2 clove garlic, minced
1 cup beef broth
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 tsp dried thyme leaves, crushed
1 tbsp tomato paste
4 cups sliced mushrooms
Pepper
Hot cooked buttered noodles, to serve with

Marinate meat in wine for 1/2 hour at room temperature. In a 5 quart casserole, mix remaining ingredients and add meat mixture. Bake at 275 for 4 hours. Serve with noodles.
