CHOCOLATE SNOWBALLS

2 tsp instant coffee powder
1/2 cup water
1/2 lb butter
1/2 lb bittersweet or semisweet chocolate
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp dark rum or brandy
foil

Preheat oven to 350. Melt chocolate, sugar in a saucepan combine with coffee powder, water, butter. Over low heat stir until melted. Pour mixture in a food processor; combine one egg at a time and brandy, or whisk madly by hand.

Line an 8x8 inch or 9x9 inch pan with foil, fill with mixture bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven. When cool, refrigerate and cool completely. Cut into 20 squares quickly shape into balls (this is messy) Can be frozen. Serve covered with whip cream or cool whip.
