SALMON PIE

2 pie shells
2 eggs, beaten
1 (15 oz) can salmon, drained
1 (10 oz) box chopped broccoli
1 (10 oz) jar Cheese Whiz or 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 can evaporated milk or 2-3 cups milk
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter

Melt butter in a large pan. Add flour to make a base. Gradually add milk, a little at a time, allow to thicken. Continue to add milk and allow to thicken each time. Add cooked and drained broccoli and cheese.

Mash the salmon in a bowl. Add eggs to salmon until well mixed. Mix this with the white sauce. Add garlic powder and allow to simmer for about 15 minutes. This should become very thick. Pour into pie shells and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned. Serves 12.
