LIME MELTAWAYS

1 cup butter
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1 3/4 cups flour
1 tbsp grated lime peel
1/2 tsp vanilla

Lime Glaze
Combine:
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
4 tsp lime juice
2 tsp grated lime peel

Preheat oven to 350. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in remaining ingredients until well blended. Place dough in a cookie press with ribbon tip. Form long ribbons of dough on ungreased sheet. Cut into 3 inch lengths. Bake 9-11 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove from cookie sheet. Cool completely. Prepare glaze and brush on cookies.
