SPICY ORANGE SHRIMP

1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 lbs uncooked shrimp, peeled
1 cup orange juice
1 to 2 tsp Tabasco sauce
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp light brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1 tbsp cold water
4 cups cooked rice

Heat oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, cook for 1 minute. Add shrimp, cooking until orange and opaque (about 2 minutes.) Stir in orange juice, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, light brown sugar and salt. Bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes. Add dissolved cornstarch, continue cooking until thickened (about 2 to 3 minutes), stirring often. Serve hot over the 4 cups of cooked rice.
