SAUSAGE SOUP

2 cups pasta, cooked al dente, drained
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced and quartered
1 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
1/2 cup shredded carrot
3 green onions, with tops, sliced
6 cups beef broth
1/4 tsp pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup tomato sauce

While pasta is cooking, in a large pan cook sausage and next 4 ingredients for 5 minutes. Add other ingredients and bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Stir in pasta and heat through. Serves 6
