SWISS HAM PIE

1 deep dish pie crust
2 tbsp butter and flour
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups milk
4 cup grated Swiss cheese
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 cup diced cooked ham

In a saucepan, melt butter; blend in flour and nutmeg. Add mild; cook and stir until thick and bubbly. Add cheese, stirring until melted. Cool slightly.

Stir a small amount of cheese mixture into beaten eggs. Return egg mixture to cheese sauce; add ham. Pour into pastry shell. Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes. Trim with slices of cheese cut into triangles. Let pie cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
