CREAM CHEESE FINGER COOKIES

1/2 cup butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 3/4 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
Dash salt
1 cup finely chopped pecans
Confectioners sugar

Cream butter and cream cheese. Beat in vanilla. Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in nuts (dough will be crumbly). Shape tablespoonfuls into 2 inch logs. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Roll warm cookies in sugar and cool on wire racks.
