KAHLUA CHOCOLATE MOUSSE

5 tsp gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup water
1/3 cup Kahlua
1/4 tsp salt
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups whipped topping
In a small bowl, combine gelatin and water; set aside to soften, about 3 minutes.
In a saucepan, mix together next 4 ingredients and softened gelatin. Stirring often, bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Pour chocolate mixture into a bowl, add milk and vanilla extract and mix well. Chill for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
Set aside 1/2 cup whipped topping for garnish and fold remaining topping into chocolate mixture. Divide mousse between 8 dessert cups or wine glasses. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight.
To serve, dollop reserved whipped topping.
