Mash together:
1 cup shortening
11/2 cup sugar

Add:
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
11/4 cup cooked raisins (cook 1 minute) save juice.
1 cup juice (add water if you don’t have quit enough juice to make a cup)

Mix in:
31/2 cup flour
11/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt

Pour into a sheet pan. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Let cool then cover with white icing.
