Shelly's Recipe

PRAILINE CANDY COOKIES

1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 (15.33 oz) can evaporated milk
1 (7 oz) jar marshmallow cream
Dash of salt
50 vanilla wafers, finely crushed
1 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla

Combine first 3 ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil over medium high heat. Boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add marshmallow cream and salt. Quickly add wafer crumbs, pecans and vanilla. Beat until well blended. Drop by tbsp onto waxed paper. Let cool. Store in airtight container.
