JACK DANIELS WILD RICE CASSEROLE

1/4 cup whiskey
1 pkg long grain and wild rice mix
1 tbsp butter
1 can sliced peaches, drained and chopped
1/3 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Add enough water to the whiskey to make 2 1/3 cups liquid. Combine with rice seasoning packet and butter. Bring to a boil. Add rice; cover and simmer until liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Stir in peaches and pecans; heat through. Serves 4
