PEANUT BUTTER FUDGE BARS

1 (18.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x9 inch baking pan. In a bowl, combine first 4 ingredients. Press two-thirds of mixture into prepared baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Cool on a rack for 5 minutes.

In a heavy saucepan, heat milk, chocolate chips and butter over low heat; stir until blended. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
