PECAN CREAM PIE

Category: Pie - Nut

1 cup sugar
3 tbsp flour
1 large can evaporated milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 (9 inch) pie shell, baked
Meringue made from the 3 egg whites
1/2 cup finely ground pecans
1 tsp vanilla extract

Combine first 4 ingredients in a saucepan; mix well and cook until thickened; stirring constantly. Add pecans and vanilla extract; pour into pie shell. Top with meringue. Bake at 325 for 15-20 minutes or until browned.
