FROSTED BROWNIES

1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 (16 oz) can chocolate syrup
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Combine butter, sugar, and eggs. Beat together until well blended, then add flour and salt. Stir in syrup and nuts. Bake in an 81/2x11 inch pan at 350 for 30 minutes.

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Combine butter, sugar, and milk, and bring to boil for 30 seconds only. Remove from heat and add 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Beat mixture until glossy and spread on brownies.
