SOUTHWESTERN BURGERS

Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 1/2 tbsp chopped green chilies (about 1/2 (4.5 oz) can

Burgers:
2 lbs ground chuck
1 small onion
1 tsp each salt and pepper
2 tsp taco seasoning mix or chili powder

6 sliced Pepper jack cheese
6 large buns
1 (6 oz) carton avocado dip
Toppings: Curly leaf lettuce, red onion slices, tomato slices

Stir together sauce ingredients; cover and chill. Preheat grill. Stir together burger ingredients and form into patties.

Grill, covered, and over medium-high heat 7-8 minutes on each side or until beef is no longer pink.

Top patties with cheese and grill 1 more minute or until cheese melts. Place buns on grill, cut side down and grill 1 minute to toast. Serve patties on buns with toppings.
