Bite into these burgers to find surprise of prosciutto and oozing cheese.
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 lb ground sirloin
1/2 lb sliced Swiss cheese
1/2 lb sliced prosciutto
2 fresh baguettes
olive oil
Whisk together mustard and Worcestershire and combine with ground sirloin. Divide meat into 8 equal portions. Form each portion into an oval burger.
Divide cheese and prosciutto into equal portions. Place 1 slice each of cheese and prosciutto in center of four of burgers and top with another burger. Seal edges well.
Cut baguettes in half, split baguette halves, brush with olive oil and grill for a minute or so to brown. Grill burgers to preferred doneness and serve open faced on bread. Serves 4.
