BEEFY CHEESE DIP

1 lb ground beef or sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (8 oz) jar salsa
1 lb processed cheese, cut into 1 inch cubes
1/4 tsp cumin and chili powder
2 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened

In a large skillet, brown beef and onion. Add spices. Drain excess fat.

In a 13x9 inch baking pan, layer: Cream cheese, meat, salsa, chilies and cubed cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with tortilla chips.
