CHEROKEE CASSEROLE

1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 cup cooked rice
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp oregano, thyme and garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup sliced green olives
6 slices American or cheddar cheese, torn into strips

Brown hamburger with onions. Combine next 8 ingredients with hamburger and pour into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Top with cheese and sprinkle with olives. Bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
