JEWEL BOX PASTA

1 (8 oz) pkg spinach pasta, cooked al dente, drained
1 can Italian plum tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
1/2 cup diced onion
2 clove garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
3 tbsp olive oil
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 cup diced ham
1/2 cup diced mozzarella cheese

Preheat oven to 400. While pasta is cooking, cook onion and garlic in olive oil until onion is tender. Add tomatoes, sugar, cream and parmesan cheese, simmer 10 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in ham and pour over cooked pasta in a casserole dish. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 15 minutes.
