CHICKEN ROTINI MARINARA

1/4 cup butter
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 clove garlic, minced
1 (28 oz) can whole tomatoes, undrained, chopped
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 (12 oz) pkg rotini, cooked al dente, drained
Grated parmesan cheese

In a saucepan melt butter. Add next 3 ingredients and cook, stirring frequently, until chicken is no longer pink and onion is tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except past and cheese and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15-20 minutes. Toss cooked pasta with sauce and serve with cheese. Serves 8
