CHERRY MARSHMALLOW DESSERT

26 graham wafer, crumbled
1 tsp butter
1 cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
36 marshmallows
1 cup whipping cream
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 can cherry pie filling

Mix first 3 ingredients and pat into a 12x8 inch pan. Reserve 2/3 cup for top. Heat milk and marshmallows until the marshmallows have melted. Cool well.

Whip cream until very stiff; add sugar and vanilla and blend the marshmallow mixture into the whipped cream mixture. Put 2/3rds of this on the crust. Spread pie filling over and top with the rest of the cream filling. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs. Refrigerate at least 4 hours before serving better after 24 hours.
