CREAMY MACARONI AND CHEESE

2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
1 quart milk
1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
1 (16-oz) pkg elbow macaroni, cooked
Preheat oven to 350. In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter over low heat on stovetop. Whisk in flour until smooth. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture is thickened and bubbly, about 20 minutes. Remove from heat.
Add cream cheese, 1 cup Parmesan cheese, and Mozzarella cheese; stir. Add macaroni to cheese mixture; stir. Spoon into a lightly greased 13x9 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese. Bake for 30 minutes, or until top is lightly browned. Serves 12
