CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM SAUCE

1 cup butter, no substitutes
4 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate
3 cups sugar
1 cup cocoa
2 cups whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla extract

In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate. Stir in sugar and cocoa until smooth. Gradually add cream; mix well. Cook for 10 minutes or until sugar is dissolved, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Serve over ice cream. Refrigerate left overs.
