CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE BARS

Crust:
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup butter, softened
1 large egg

Filling:
1 (8-oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 (16-oz) pkg confectioners sugar
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
2 tbsp butter

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa, and baking powder. Add 1 cup butter and 1 egg, stirring until combined. Press mixture in bottom of a greased, foil-lined 13x9 inch baking pan; set aside.

In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, 2 eggs, and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add confectioners sugar, beating well. Pour over crust, spreading evenly. In a microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate morsels and 2 tbsp butter. Microwave on high (100% power) for 1 minute, stirring until chocolate is melted.

Drop spoonfuls of melted chocolate over cream-cheese mixture. Pull a knife randomly through batter in wide curves; turn pan and repeat for a swirl effect. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool. Remove from pan by lifting foil. Peel back foil and cut into squares to serve.
