BAKED MACARONI WITH MEAT SAUCE

3 cups macaroni, cooked al dente, drained
1 1/2 cups grated mozzarella cheese
Grated parmesan cheese
Sauce
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1 cup sliced celery and mushrooms
1 (5.5 oz) can tomato paste
1 (28 oz) can tomatoes, broken up
2 cups tomato juice
2 bay leaves
Salt, pepper and Italian seasoning
2 clove garlic, pricked with toothpick
Preheat oven to 350. Prepare sauce by sauting first 6 ingredients in sauce. Drain and add remaining ingredients and allow to simmer about 40 minutes. Remove garlic from sauce.
After draining pasta, place in a baking dish and pour sauce over. Top with cheese. Bake until cheese is golden brown.
