CHICKEN BAKED IN SOUR CREAM

2 1/2 to 3 lb fryer chicken cut up
1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 cup cooking oil
3 tbsp dry onion soup mix
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup heavy cream

Mix first 3 ingredients and dredge chicken into mixture. Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and brown on all sides. Place in a 13x9 inch baking pan.

Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan and cook over low heat until hot. Do not allow to boil. Pour over chicken and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until tender. Serves 4
