1/4 whole onion, chopped
2 tbsp lime juice, soy sauce and hoisin sauce
2 clove garlic, minced
1 whole jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
1 tsp minced ginger root
1 lb sword fish or other firm-fleshed fish

Combine ingredients in a resealable and refrigerate at least 1 hour. Grill or broil fish 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes when tested with a fork.
