PRALINE PUMPKIN CREAM PIE

1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 graham cracker pie crust
2 (4 serving size) pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin
1 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 (8 oz) container whipped topping, thawed

In a small saucepan, heat first 3 ingredients until butter and sugar are melted and mixture comes to a boil; boil 30 seconds. Spread on bottom of crust. Cool.

In a large bowl, combine milk and pudding mix. Beat for 1 minute or until mixture is thick. Stir in pumpkin and spice until well mixed. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups whipped topping. Spread over nut layer. Refrigerate 4 hours or until set. Serve. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
