APPLE BUTTER POUND CAKE

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 cup cornmeal
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup spiced apple butter
1 tbsp whiskey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans

Glaze
1 cup confectioners sugar
4-5 tsp milk
1 1/2 tsp corn syrup
1/4 tsp vanilla extract or whiskey

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a bundt pan. In a bow, combine first 3 ingredients until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine dry ingredients and alternately combine next 3 ingredients. Add dry and wet ingredients starting and ending with dry to creamed mixture, mixing until well blended. Stir in pecans and pour into pan, spreading evenly. Bake 60-70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to wire rack to cool completely.

Glaze: Combine ingredients and drizzle over cake. Store, tightly covered.
