APPLE BUTTER CAKE

3 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves
3/4 cup butter
1 1/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 1/2 cups apple butter

Mix dry ingredients; add butter. Beat in eggs; add milk and apple butter. Pour into a greased cake pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes. Cool completely and frost with favorite vanilla frosting (I like to add some the same spices as in the cake.)
