RAVIOLI or TORTELLINI IN MUSHROOM AND WALNUT SAUCE - Easy

1 (12 oz) pkg ravioli or tortellini, cooked according to package directions
2 tbsp olive oil
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups grated parmesan cheese

Heat oil in a skillet and saute mushrooms and nuts until mushrooms are golden. Add cream and cook, stirring frequently, for 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. Turn heat to warm and when cream stops simmering, add pepper and cheese. Stir until sauce is smooth being careful not to boil. Stir in past and serve.
