Grilled - BEEFY ONIONS

1 envelope beefy mushrooms soup mix or herb and savory garlic soup mix
2 tbsp ketchup, packed brown sugar and vegetable oil
4 large onions, thinly sliced
Aluminum foil, folded into a triple thickness packet

Combine first 4 ingredients and add onions. Toss to coat. Turn into bag and seal. Grill, turning bag over halfway through cooking, about 25 minutes or until onions are tender. Serve on hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage or steak sandwiches.

NOTE: Can be baked at 450 in a large baking pan, covered, stirred halfway through cooking, about 45 minutes or until onions are tender.
