ALL PURPOSE CHICKEN RUB

2 tbsp pickling salt
1 tbsp garlic and onion powders
1 tsp ground thyme, sage, paprika and pepper

Mix well and stir in an airtight container with shaker top.

NOTE: Depending on what is being made, adding rosemary, tarragon, or basil is also good. I sprinkle it on chicken and let it marinate before breading for fried chicken.
