CHEESECAKE FONDUE

Category: Sweet Dips / Spreads

1 cup half-and-half
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, room temperature
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp grated lemon peel and vanilla extract
2 tsp lemon juice
Dash nutmeg

Heat half-and-half in a fondue pot to simmering. Cut cheese into cubes and add, stirring until blended into cream and melted. Add remaining ingredients, stirring until blended. Bring to table and set over low heat.

Use cubes of angel food or pound cake, apple slices, fresh strawberries or pineapple cubes. Serves 4
