Shelly's Recipe

FUDGE SQUARES

1/2 tsp cocoa
2 cup ssugar
4 eggs, separated
1 cup milk
1 cup shortening
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla extract
Chopped nuts

Beat the egg white until stiff. Sift dry ingredients. Cream shortening with sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla, beating until combined. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk. Fold in egg whites an d then pour inot a jelly-roll pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Frost and cut into squares.
