SEAFOOD CASSEROLE – Easy

1/2 cu chopped green bell pepper, green onion and celery
1/2 cup butter
2-3 tbsp flour
2 lbs uncooked shrimp
2 lbs crabmeat
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk
1 (4 oz) can sliced mushrooms
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/3 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
Bread crumbs

Preheat oven to 375. Saute vegetable in a sauce pan until softened. Stir in flour and shrimp. Blend well and cook until shrimp are pink; set aside.

In a saucepan, combine soup and next 4 ingredients. Cook until smooth and thickened, stirring constantly. Add shrimp mixture, crabmeat and cheese. Blend well and pour into a butter 13x9 inch baking pan. Cover with bread crumbs and bake 20-30 minutes.
