CREAMY TURKEY MUSHROOM CASSEROLE

6 slices bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms stems and pieces, drained
1 can cream of celery soup
1 cup sour
3 cups cut up cooked turkey or chicken
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
2 cups baking mix
1/2 cup milk
2 eggs
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or process American cheese

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 2-quart round casserole. In skillet where bacon was cooked, saute vegetables until tender and drain. Stir in next 5 ingredients and bacon, heat until bubbly. Spread in casserole. Mix remaining ingredients just until moistened; spread over turkey mixture. Bake, uncovered, until golden brown, 30-35 minutes. Serves 6-8
