SUNDAY NIGHT POTLUCK SUPPER

1/2 lb uncooked spaghetti
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb sweet Italian sausage, casing removed and lean ground beef
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp oregano
1 tsp seasoned salt
2 slices cheddar cheese, each cut into 2 triangles
4 slices ripe tomato
Sliced mushrooms
Melted butter

Cook spaghetti al dente; drain. Turn spaghetti into a greased 2-quart baking dish; cover with shredded cheese; set aside. Saute together next 4 ingredients in a skillet until meat is brown and crumbly; drain. Add next 6 ingredients; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from oven; alternate 2 rows cheese and top with tomato slices. Brush with butter and garnish with mushrooms. Continue baking until cheese is melted. Serves 8
