ITALIAN PORK DINNER

4 large pork loin chops
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing
2 tbsp oil
4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
1 small onion, sliced
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp Italian salad dressing
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Marinade chops in 1/4 cup dressing for 3 hours, turning occasionally. Remove chops form marinade and brown in a skillet on both sides in oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Return browned chops to marinade in baking dish. Layer with potatoes and onion. Dot with butter. Pour remaining 2 tbsp Italian dressing; sprinkle with cheese over top. Cover with foil and bake at 375 for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until chops are tender. Serves 4.
