1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 15 oz can pumpkin
1 cup chopped pecans
6 oz chocolate chips
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt and cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda and baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon. In a medium bowl, combine oil, sugar, eggs, pumpkin and vanilla; combine with dry ingredients. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour batter into a greased and floured 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes, until cake springs back when center is touched lightly. May frost with cream cheese frosting or chocolate frosting.
